Illinois Street Park
Come visit the Illinois Street Park. Parents sit in the pavilion while the children play in the sand, swing, play basketball, or play on the many pieces of gymnasium equipment. Or Just come and have lunch under the pavilion to enjoy the fresh air. |
Veterans Memorial
Located on Chestnut St along the Rail Road Park is the memorial dedication to veterans of Assumption. Come sit and take a look at this beautiful moment and look at all the names carved in the tall black stone. |
Women's Club
Railroad Park Come and walk along the railroad between Chestnut and North Oak Streets. Sit in the gazebo, see an authentic restored caboose,and enjoy the beautiful landscaping along the tracks. |
City Park
Skate Park Hours: 8am-10pm Come visit Assumptions City park on west 2nd street. Where there is skating equipment to bike, roller skate, or skateboard on. |
